Niketa Thakar is the former Head of Business Management India, Corporate Services at RBS and a member of the Focussed Women’s Network. She is now VP – Leadership Coach India at RBS. Niketa has joined RBS in 2010 and is presently heading the Business Management team for Corporate Services in India. Her key responsibilities include Strategic Program and Change Management, Governance and Reporting and driving the People and Communications agenda for Corporate Services in region. Niketa is a Computer Engineer with an MBA in Finance.
With a passion to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda in India, Niketa has been Chairperson of the Focused Women’s Network India committee since the launch in April 2013. During this time, the India network has grown to almost a 1,100 members, while the committee has delivered over 12 networking events.
Niketa loves travelling to different countries and exploring the diverse cultures – in her spare time, she loves to explore her hobby of nature photography and is presently pursuing her love of languages by studying Mandarin.
