Over the past 25 years, everywoman has been at the forefront of championing women in business, driving change, and fostering gender diversity. From our inception in 1999 with a vision to advance women and aid organisations in achieving their gender diversity goals, to the launch of pivotal initiatives and awards, our journey is intertwined with wider historical and political moments that have shaped the landscape of gender equality.

1999

With a steadfast mission to advance women in business and aid organisations in achieving their gender diversity goals, everywoman launches marking the beginning of a transformative journey.
2000

The UK Government publishes the “Listening to Women” strategy, highlighting the need for greater female representation and addressing issues pertinent to women nationwide.

In partnership with IBM, the National Conference Programme is inaugurated, becoming the largest one-day event of its kind for female entrepreneurs. It offers a dynamic platform for learning, inspiration, and networking.

The everywoman Awards launches, providing a prestigious platform to showcase and celebrate the remarkable achievements of women entrepreneurs and the stories of ordinary women achieving extraordinary success.

2020 Impact Report
2020 marked the 21st anniversary of everywoman’s launch, and to celebrate we reflected on the work we’ve being doing over the past two decades to help bring about record levels of female employment and drive down the gender gap in the workplace.
We are delighted to share this with you in our Impact Report.
Reviewing how far we have come to date made us more determined than ever to continue on our mission. A mission to create a future where economic and societal change is achieved by unlocking female potential, creating diverse and inclusive workforces that drive innovative and profitable business.
