ROSALEEN BLAIR CBE

CHAIR

Rosaleen is a passionate entrepreneur and philanthropist. She founded Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) in 1996, which transformed the way that blue-chip multinationals attract, engage and retain top talent. She built it into a global business and, on its sale to OMERS for £820 million in 2019, became Chair. Rosaleen is a serial entrepreneur, investing in and advising numerous companies, including as Chair of Everywoman.

She supports the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award and will chair its global judging panel in 2021. She also supports a number of not-for-profit initiatives, notably as Chair of the London Irish Centre and as a donor to several charities. She has won numerous enterprise and industry awards, and was appointed CBE in 2017.

EVERYWOMAN CO-FOUNDERS

Karen and Max are the co-founders of everywoman. Founded over 20 years ago, everywoman provides a range of products and services that support the advancement of women in business. They include an acclaimed online personal development tool accessed by thousands globally; a series of conferences and leadership programmes across a variety of sectors; high-profile sector-specific Awards that elevate female role models and the organisations they work for, research and initiatives in collaboration with partners such as the UK Government Equalities Office providing insight and guidance. Both Karen and Max were awarded MBEs in 2009 in recognition of their services to women’s enterprise and in 2017 the Government’s Women’s Business Council recognised their outstanding commitment to the advancement of women in business.

RUTH BLAMEY

CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER

As Director of Finance & Operations for everywoman, Ruth is responsible for all finance, IT, human resources, legal and facilities management.

With over 35 years of experience working with both large corporates and with SME’s, Ruth brings international and UK experience from the events and hospitality industries.

Previous positions include Group Finance Director for Media Tree Ltd, Financial Controller at The Savoy Hotel London, and Director of Corporate Accounting Worldwide for InterContinental Hotels.
