Mohammed Farshori

Mohammed Farshori is a strategic global social impact and Inclusion leader, recognised for his passion for diversity, inclusion, justice and the environment. He has successfully led award winning business diversity groups at local and national levels and his efforts have been instrumental in taking non-profits in the US to new heights.

He is a recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s Minority Business Leader Award 2019, Immigrant Journey Award 2020, HSNT Person of the year – 2022 and Asian Chamber of Texas’s Diversity Leader Award.

In his day job, Mohammed leads global community and environmental engagement at AT&T, responsible for managing, building, and expanding employee engagement and social impact efforts in the US, Europe, and Asia. He serves on the advisory board of the United Nations Foundation Girl Up campaign, University of Texas Dallas’s Diversity Advisory board and is the Co-Founder of Faith@Work Employee Resource Group. Mohammed also serves as the Chair Elect Asian Chamber of Texas. In addition, he also serves on the Visit Dallas advisory board.

He is a public speaker on topics of diversity, equity and inclusion, community engagement, leadership, and personal and professional empowerment. Mohammed has been invited to be keynote speaker, lead strategy sessions, diversity conversations and moderate panels at major conferences in the US, such as the Asia Society, Conference Board, NAAAP, and the White House Initiative on AANHPI leadership roundtables and the stakeholder meetings at the White House.

In the past, Mohammed has also served on the board of National Alliance on Mental Illness, served as the National President – Organisation of Asian Indians at AT&T ERG, Trustee Chair and Past President – India Association of North Texas, President NASIM Foundation, Vice Chairman Mahatma Gandhi Memorial North Texas, and Community Relations & Scholarship Chair – Women of AT&T (Dallas Chapter).
