Estelle Hollingsworth

Chief People Officer, Virgin Atlantic

As Chief People Officer, Estelle is responsible for ensuring the airline’s people can thrive at work, by creating inclusive experiences that energise teams and drive its vision to be the most loved travel company and sustainably profitable. Estelle brings 30 years of People experience to the role, previously as Vice President, Cabin at the airline, leading its cabin crew and ground team. Estelle joined Virgin Atlantic at the beginning of 2018, as Vice President, People Experience where she was responsible for talent, leadership development and learning across the company.  

Previously, Estelle has worked and lived internationally across 5 different industries: Hotels, Financial Services, Industrial Gases, Defence and Security and now Aviation. She joined Virgin Atlantic Ltd from BAE Systems where she was the UK HR Director, Talent and Organisational Effectiveness. Prior to that, she spent 15 years with Air Products, setting up and leading Specialist HR functions as well as leading the HR Function across Northern and Central Europe, based in Brussels.  

Estelle graduated from Cardiff University with a Degree in French, Spanish and German. She went on to achieve her MBA in Business Administration and HR Management from Aston Business School.   

With 3 children, Estelle keeps herself busy and loves going for walks, is a keen gardener and a passionate Governor at the local secondary school.
