Austin Sheppard is the Senior Vice President ad interim of Booking.com’s Trips Business Unit, which encompasses “everything but the stay”—including flights, rental cars, airport taxis, attractions, and insurance. </br
Austin joined Booking.com in May 2021 as VP of Engineering, following three years with the online ticket exchange platform StubHub. At StubHub, he was initially the Global Head of Engineering and Technical Operations, later advancing to Chief Technology Officer in April 2020. Previously, he spent many years at Amazon.com, a company deeply rooted in customer obsession. </br
With a career spanning 25 years, Austin has held general management, software development, engineering, and product roles across North America, Asia, and Europe. Originally from the US, he spent 10 years living in China before relocating to the UK upon joining Booking.com in 2021. A passionate traveler, he considers himself a citizen of the world.
