Hannah Thomson is the Founder CEO of The Joy Club – a content and experiences platform for retirees. She was initially inspired to start the company by her adventurous Granny Jean, for whom retirement was the most joyful time of her life.  

When Hannah lost Granny Jean to dementia, she wanted to pay tribute to her by bringing her sense of joy, adventure and passion for meeting new people to as many others as possible. Since launching in 2020, The Joy Club has brought joy to thousands of retirees from across the UK, secured pioneering partnerships with major retirement communities and financial services providers and become a multi-award-winning company.
