Serene Kam is joint founder of InFinite Connection Pte Ltd (IFC8) a boutique agency for independent freight forwarders which currently has over 250 members spanning across the globe. Based in Singapore, Serene established IFC8 with a firm belief that a robust network is the cornerstone of success for independent freight forwarding and logistics agents. Her dedication to fostering connections and harnessing positive synergies among agents is evident in the annual conferences organized by IFC8, where people from the industry come together to share insights and build lasting relationships and partnerships.

Before embarking on the journey with Ifc8, Serene accumulated over 15 years of invaluable experience in business development, customer service, and finance within the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry. Her expertise spans a diverse range of clients, from multinational corporations such as Bausch & Lomb, SONY Electronics, Sealy Singapore, Carrier Singapore, to local SMEs.

Serene’s passion extends to leadership performance coaching and developmental coaching. As a competent accredited administrator in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Transformational Leadership Questionnaire (TLQ), and Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9002, Serene’s commitment to professional development led her to successfully complete the Teleos Executive Coach Development Program with Teleos Leadership Institute (USA).

A certified graduate of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP), Serene has earned a recommendation for the Professional Certified Coach (PCC), having met the rigorous requirements of Associate Certified Coach (ACC). Serene is a champion for women in both the freight industry and leadership performance and proud to be on the judging panel of this year’s Everywoman in transport and logistics awards.
