As IT Director for EV Cargo’s Palletforce, Kate is responsible for all IT activities including developing innovative and dynamic technology solutions to power its express distribution operations. Kate also pioneers network-wide technology to help Palletforce offer market-leading freight visibility and delivery performance.  

Kate joined Palletforce in 2016 as software development manager, becoming Head of IT in 2019 and IT Director in 2020. Prior to this, she worked at ESG (Now SOCOTEC) as system development manager, overseeing a team of internal developers and maintaining systems ranging from surveying software through to laboratory testing integration equipment. She was part of the team that developed and rolled out the first Android smartphone surveying application. In 2021 she received the Tech Innovator Award at the Everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards for her efforts in developing the successful Palletforce Technology Trident.
