Cara is proud to lead the AtkinsRéalis Rail Consulting Practice, managing a team of specialists delivering design and advisory services across rolling stock, railway operations, systems, infrastructure and safety.  

Cara is passionate about promoting transport industry growth and modernisation. She provides leadership and support to her team and the wider industry to implement innovative technological, safe and sustainable solutions, all the while championing inclusivity for all. Having navigated the challenges of the transport industry for over 15 years, Cara takes her role as a role model, mentor and sponsor to women and allies very seriously. She is also a leader of the AtkinsRéalis Neurodiversity network. 

Cara is a Board Director of Rail Forum and has been a Governor of Brent Knoll School for 3 years.
