Sustainability has been the heart of Liz’s career, since starting in the health, safety and environmental profession. Her Journey started when working in shipbuilding where she supported a healthy apprenticeship programme, procured from a vibrant local supply chain and worked closely to minimise environmental impacts. Her passion grew from there and took flight in her first senior position where she was able to influence decisions at a board level, ensuring leadership approach to people, plant and profit. 22 years in the health, safety and environmental profession in a wide spread of industries and functions from enforcement, to insurance has allowed her to see the benefit in giving back to the community.
