Hazel is a mechanical engineer and started her career in manufacturing quality engineering. Hazel has a strong maths background having worked in maths education and on initiatives involving data tracking and analytics. Working as an automation engineer, project manager and consultant,  she has developed projects through conception, and detailed design with a range of suppliers. Hazel’s work has included the delivery of projects involving a wide range of technologies and a mix of upgrades to existing and new automation installations.
