Claire Williams is currently Head of Cycling at Transport for West Midlands, a region being transformed into a place where communities can chose to walk and cycle as part of their everyday transport choices. Claire has worked in transport within the region for over 20 years, starting her career as a Trainee Road Safety Officer at Sandwell Council before undertaking a variety of roles, always driven by improving places for communities.  She has recently completed her Masters in Strategic Leadership with a focus on growing talent within the sector, especially within underrepresented groups.
