From a tiny idea in the back of a travel diary whilst travelling around South America with her husband Simon, the fledgling ideas for Montezuma’s grew, from a lifestyle business with clearly defined trading fairly principles into Britain’s most creative chocolate maker and retailer. Opening its doors as a retailer in 2000, Montezuma’s is now a multi-channel business across the UK and internationally.
After a few years out, Helen and Simon are now back running the business and helping to ensure it is fit for the future.
They also invest in growing food businesses and enjoy mentoring food entrepreneurs. Helen is also a trustee of the incredible children’s charity Children on the Edge and through Montezuma’s, has helped to raise over £250k for their work with marginalised children around the world.
