Chiamaka is an award-winning business and technology leader. She is a Product Management Leader with a proven track record in spearheading digital transformation, formulating enterprise-wide strategies, and implementing data-driven solutions at an Executive level. Currently, Chiamaka holds the position of Head of Product Management in HSBC’s Chief Technology Office where she is leading the Product Management strategy, function, and transformation of a 9000-strong workforce, actively shaping a product-oriented, customer-centric, agile organisation. She is passionate about creating excellent products that delight customers and colleagues. In 2024, and in recognition of her achievements, Chiamaka was recognised as a Finalist for HSBC’s Women in Tech and Spotlight Awards.
With over a decade of experience in product management, she has successfully catered to more than 200 million customers across 60+ countries. Renowned for her strategic vision and exceptional problem-solving skills, Chiamaka leads teams in executing digital strategies and solutions that yield significant improvements in operations, costs, and user experience. Her diverse international experience spans multiple business areas in organisations such as HSBC, Sony PlayStation, Vodafone, and ING Bank, consistently delivering robust and sustainable results.
At HSBC, she Co-founded EmpowHER, a successful grassroots data-driven innovative programme designed to enhance the visibility and representation of 90 black heritage females, positioning them for career opportunities. In its first year, EmpowHER participants recorded an improvement of 15% -35% across eight indices. In recognition of her leadership role in EmpowHER, she was the recipient of the Black Women in Asset Management 40 Under 40 award.
Chiamaka is also passionate about financial literacy and is the Founder of WealthSquats Limited, a company driven to inspire visionary women aged 25-55 to belong in the financial world by providing proven, action-oriented strategies, that enables them to enjoy today and build wealth for tomorrow with confidence and control.
Chiamaka has lived in five countries and is a graduate of Erasmus University and Manchester Business School.
