Research has shown that women are far less likely than men to feel happy with the state of their finances — and to have clarity and confidence over their future financial plans. They’re also less likely to seek the advice of a financial expert, and, when they do, they report feeling less ‘understood’ by their mostly male advisors. There’s a wellbeing issue here too — women are more likely to cite ‘lack of time’ as a reason they’re less in control of money matters.
