In another hilarious anecdote, she recounts the time she climbed up onto the board table to surprise a roomful of male board leaders and survived a presentation during a blackout power cut in Nigeria! "I realised I could be more outrageous when the stakes were high enough!" says Mitzie.
She also discusses her own battles with confidence and admits she'd once wrongly assumed that confidence "would come from my title; would come from my pay; would come from my education". She came to learn however that none of those things would affect her confidence as much as creating a positive internal dialogue with herself and standing for what she believes in.
