2019 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The Revolut everywoman in Travel Awards celebrate inspirational women at all stages of their career and uncover role models to help encourage more women and young girls to consider a career in the travel industry.

A growing body of research demonstrates that gender-balanced teams produce better business outcomes and create a more sustainable future for an organisation’s entire workforce, with a direct and positive impact on the bottom line. Critically, with Brexit the industry needs to attract the best possible talent, from school leavers, grads and senior women, whilst at the same time ensuring it develops and inspires all those already working in the sector.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The Revolut everywoman in Travel Awards are for those who possess the qualities, attitude, hard work ethic and commitment to supporting other women that makes them a credit to the industry and the organisations they work for. They are the talented women who have exceeded expectations as well as inspired success in others. A new category award for 2019 is the Disruptor Award, awarded to a woman who is challenging the status quo, in an unconventional and innovative way.

To date, Revolut has raised approximately $340 million in funding, from noteable venture capital firms including Index Ventures, Ribbit Capital, Balderton Capital and DST Global.
