SHOWCASING REMARKABLE JOURNEYS

Nominations for the 2018 IBM iX everywoman in Travel Awards are now closed.

The Awards will celebrate inspirational women at all stages of their career and uncover role models to help encourage more women and young girls to consider a career in the travel industry.

A growing body of research demonstrates that gender-balanced teams produce better business outcomes and create a more sustainable future for an organisation’s entire workforce, with a direct and positive impact on the bottom line. Critically, with Brexit, the industry needs to attract the best possible talent, from school leavers, grads and senior women, whilst at the same time ensuring it develops and inspires all those already working in the sector.

WHY NOMINATE?

Becoming a finalist is an excellent way to raise both individual and company profiles as well as celebrate career achievements and recognition within the industry. Past winners and finalists from other programmes have gone on to receive promotions and internal and external recognition. Hear from one of our winners here.

In addition to this, it will also help encourage more women and young girls to consider a career in the travel industry.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The 2018 IBM iX everywoman in Travel Awards are for those who possess the qualities, attitude, hard work ethic and commitment to supporting other women that makes them a credit to the industry and the organisations they work for. They are the talented women who have exceeded expectations as well as inspired success in others. New category awards for 2018 are the International Inspiration Award and the Male Agent of Change Award, awarded to a man for his active commitment to advancing the progress of women working in travel.
