100+ middle managers, rising stars and future leaders joined the sold out everywoman Academy: Advancing Women in Technology - a day of networking and career insights by women in technology excelling in their roles and career experts. 


Our academies are an invaluable experience for our delegates, enabling 1000s of women to become confident in their working lives or prepared for leadership. Delegates expanded their professional networks and returned to work motivated and armed with practical methods to build strong networks, overcome stressful situations and stick to career plans.


We were delighted to have Dr. Ines Wichert – a gender diversity and career development expert – join us at IBM, Southbank London. She is the Head of Diversity & Inclusion at IBM, a chartered occupational psychologist, author of Where Have All the Senior Women Gone, and one of the many incredible minds at the academy sharing their knowledge about recognising your strengths and becoming successful.

This interactive session is designed to get you thinking about what resilience is, and its importance in helping you navigate the workplace and help you strive for success while handling the challenges, pitfalls and issues that you will most undoubtedly face at every step on your career ladder.  We will define resilience and explain how it effects your mental, emotional and physical health and give you concrete and actionable ways in which you can build your own resilience.
