Whether you work for an organisation or run your own business, taking charge of your own development will help you accelerate your career progression. Whatever level you're at, if you drive your own development and work towards clear goals, you'll be better equipped to navigate your way towards a long and fulfilling career. Ask any successful person and they will tell you they have generally focused on developing core skills to make them the great leaders, speakers, time managers, presenters, negotiators and delegators that they are today.

That's why the everywomanNetwork created the 'Ambition Hour' Campaign, so you have a ring-fenced hour each week when you focus on you and your development to drive your ambition. Throughout our history we have demonstrated an enduring commitment to diversity and inclusion. Landmark milestones include hiring our first professional women in 1935 and appointing our first woman vice president in 1943. Diversity and Inclusion is not just an important part of our heritage but we believe it is critical to enduring business success. All organisations need diversity of skills, talent and thought. Together, this delivers the innovation our clients expect of us everyday. For a third year, we are proud to sponsor the everywoman in Technology Leadership Academy, as it looks to inspire our next generation of women leaders in the technology industry.

Diversity is at the very core of ARM and is what drives our innovation and success. The everywoman Academy: Advancing Women in Technology, is an important recognition of the work that women are doing in technology and we're proud to be supporting it. Our view is that we need to foster a strong gender mix in the workplace by establishing a creative, inclusive and well-balanced environment that ultimately leads to success. As a company, we live and breathe this philosophy.
