Marianne Breen-Hart, Associate Director at Accenture Technology

Having a mentor is important, find someone you like, trust and shares your values. You will always feel supported and encouraged in your work.

I am an Associate Director within Accenture Technology, aligned to the Intelligent Engineering Services group. I have experience working across large global engagements and complex strategic projects. I am passionate about New IT and finding ways to enhance the way the world works and lives.

I am committed to growing an inclusive workforce, taking a lead role in shaping our UKI Inclusion and Diversity agenda. I am committed to building, coaching, developing and retaining highly motivated teams through learning and development opportunities and long-term client relationships.

As an experienced, results orientated operational leader, I have had the privilege of working with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and high performing teams to define our strategic journey across several industry sectors.

My experience includes leading and defining complex change programmes, business process improvements, strategic planning, and change management. I have a can-do attitude and enjoy operating in high paced, outcome focused environments.

I regularly volunteer as a mentor and coach to those in the Women in Technology HUB - an initiative I founded in 2017. I hold the position of Business Operations and Community Lead for Accenture Scotland, highlighting my passion to build strong, lasting relationships with business leaders and universities to enhance the opportunities available to young people across Scotland.

I was delighted to be nominated and shortlisted for the Scotland Business Leader of the Year award in 2018 and the FDM Every Woman in Business award in the category of Best Leader 2019.

I am married and live in Scotland. I enjoy swimming, politics, and travelling.
