The Worldpay everywoman in Retail Ambassadors Programme increases awareness of the diverse range of opportunities for women in retail, inspiring more women to consider a career in retail, as opposed to just a job.

The Ambassadors Programme shines the spotlight on women inspiring others and role models operating the entire length of the female talent pipeline. It profiles those companies who place importance on recognising inspirational female role models and the vital role they play in motivating their colleagues.

Nominations for the 2016 Worldpay everywoman in Retail Ambassadors Programme have closed.

  • Entrants should be employed in UK retailing, either chain or independent. This is defined as the sale of goods to the general public via store or online, and excludes the sale of services e.g. restaurants, hotels, travel, hair and beauty, and other leisure and hospitality
  • Entrants must be based or have their chief operations in the UK
  • Entrants must be available to attend the evening Awards dinner on 13 September at the Langham London
  • Entrants can nominate themselves or can be nominated by a colleague or associate
  • All age criteria for any relevant categories should be met as of the date that nominations close (16 May 2016)
  • Previous applicants to the Awards are invited to reapply and will need to complete a new online nomination with up-to-date information
  • Entrants must provide the name and contact details of a valid internal reference i.e. Line Manager/Director
  • Entrants must provide the name and contact details of a second referee i.e. Colleague/Manager/Director/Associate
  • It is not necessary to inform references at the time of making your nomination. You do not need to get their sign off or endorsement before you submit your nomination form. We will only contact references if the nominee is shortlisted
  • The information provided will be disclosed only to the judges, the staff of everywoman and key partners on a strictly confidential basis
  • Submitting supporting evidence: Any supporting evidence must be provided in one document only, no longer than four A4 sides, clearly labelled and emailed to events@everywoman.com  before the deadline.
  • Mandatory Statement of Support: Once you have submitted your nomination, you will receive a confirmation email with a request for a 75-100 word statement of support from a close colleague or manager to the nominee. This statement will act as a professional reference and should be able to vouch for the nominee&39;s skills, abilities and whether the nominee is a worthy candidate for this Award. You may provide this in advance alongside your supporting evidence if you wish to do so.
  • Details provided in the nomination form will potentially be used for press releases and web content if the nominee is placed as a finalist or winner, so please ensure it is factually correct - we will not be liable for inaccuracies published based on nomination content and changes may not be possible after publication
  • The information you provide is strictly confidential and will only be shared with everywoman, key partner Worldpay and the judging panel



  • Payment via Eventbrite is via credit card or invoice. You will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite and a PDF VAT receipt. You can also download this VAT receipt in ‘Your Orders’ on Eventbrite. For group bookings of six or more places please email events@everywoman.com and a Group Invoice will be emailed to you. If you request to be invoiced, payment terms will be 30 days from invoice date. If your company uses Purchase Order Numbers, please supply this at the time of booking as failure to do so may cause problems with your booking.
  • Please note that we must receive full payment prior to the event start date.
  • If you are booking within one week of the event we will require payment by credit card. If this is causes difficulty then please call 020 7981 2574 and speak to a member of the team.
  • CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE: Upon completing your booking you will receive an automatic confirmation via Eventbrite. The dispatch by us of an email confirmation constitutes a legally binding contract. If you have not received your confirmation email immediately after submission of your booking, please call 020 7981 2574 and speak to a member of the team as there may be a problem with your booking. Everywoman is unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information. Everywoman reserves the right to decline any booking.
  • CANCELLATION: All cancellations must be made in writing by email to events@everywoman.com and a confirmation email will be sent to you. It is the booker’s responsibility to ensure that we have received the cancellation. Please keep a record of this confirmation in case of query. Cancellations received up to 10 working days before the event will be refunded in full less an admin fee of 10% of the ticket price paid. Cancellations received within ten working days of the event and no shows will not be refunded. However, registrations may be transferred to a substitute participant. Substitutions on the day of the conference are made at the organiser’s discretion only.
  • Everywoman cannot offer refunds due to a terrorist alert, act of God or the curtailment of public transport, unless the event is cancelled. In this instance, Everywoman will retain up to 50% of the event fee to cover event venue and administration costs.
  • DATA PROTECTION: The information you have provided will be kept on file for future registration use and will be shared only with the official event partners. Everywoman will provide you with information relating to your booking and from time to time other Everywoman related products or services via email, direct mail or telephone. If you would like to be excluded from further communications from event partners please email events@everywoman.com


On the day:

  • DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:Vegetarian meals are available at all Everywoman Ltd events. If you have any other dietary needs please email events@everywoman.com up to two weeks before the event and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • FILMING/PHOTOGRAPHY: Please note that we may take photographs, video and audio footage of the event, which may include speakers and attendees and this may later be used in editorial features and/or in marketing and promotional material. If you wish not to be included in any footage please speak to the event organiser onsite at the event.
  • Audio and visual recordings or the distribution of commercial materials are not permitted without our prior consent. We can accept no liability for damage to or loss of personal belongings at the event venue.
