Why Enter the Awards?
By highlighting the profession’s inspirational women and celebrating their successes and achievements, the FDM everywoman in Technology Awards aim to highlight the contributions that women are making to their field and to encourage more women to pursue a career in technology.
Being selected as a finalist, or in fact winning an Award, will attract attention and support from the business world, government, industry and the press. It will recognise the nominee as an inspirational role model who will inspire more women to consider a career in technology. You can see our previous winners and finalists here >>
One sure-fire way of getting noticed for the FDM everywoman in Technology Awards is a really good, well completed nomination form. Make sure you take your time over your nomination, so that you tell us absolutely everything that showcases the nominee's brilliance and double check that all the contact details are correct.
Support your nomination
Mandatory - The judging panel require a Statement of Support, of no more than 75-100 words from a close colleague or manager to the nominee. This statement will act as a professional reference and should be able to vouch for the nominee's skills, abilities and whether the nominee is a worthy candidate for this Award. This is a mandatory requirement and without this the judging panel may choose not to progress your nomination to the next stage of the judging process. This statement can be incorporated into any supporting evidence that you are looking to submit. Supporting evidence is an optional and can include video links, press releases, news articles, photographs, testimonials or other items which you think will help the judges make informed decisions about the nominee. Supporting evidence must be submitted in one document, no longer than four A4 sides to mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org by 25 November.
