Women in Business and Banks: An Opportunity to Share Your Views with the Government

We've been given a great opportunity to reflect the voice of women in business by asking our members some questions on behalf of the Minister for Equalities. We'd love to share your experiences with the Government, and get your voice heard.

House of MoneyIn November 2011, the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) published a report by Professor Noreena Hertz Women and Banks: are female customers facing discrimination?. The report looked at two types of lending:

  1. Business lending to women

  2. Mortgage lending to women on maternity leave/who were pregnant at the time

The Deputy Prime Minister asked Lynne Featherstone, Minister for Equalities to conduct a review looking into the issues raised by the report.

If you could spare a few minutes please respond to the questions below, by reply of this email by 31st July 2012, which ask about your experience/knowledge of business lending over the last 2-3 years. We will forward your responses to the Minister for Equalities - your details will remain anonymous.
