Women in Technology Focus on Their Leadership Skills
The everywoman in Technology Leadership Academy took place at Cisco, in Feltham on Wednesday, 17 October 2012 and provided a unique opportunity for women working in the technology industry to come together to focus on their personal development and leadership, hear from experienced and inspirational women in the industry and to network.
The day included a panel session discussing how to uncover a route to personal success, featuring Wendy Mars, Senior Director at Data Centre EMEAR, Rebecca George OBE, vice chair at BCS Policy and Public Affairs Board, Cisco's Polly Burtinshaw, IBM's Mandy Chessell, FDM Group's Sheila Flavell and BP's Lyn Grobler. There were also two masterclasses and a motivational session, as well as networking opportunities to meet likeminded women.
