Judging The Future Female Stars of Technology
Judging day for the 2012 everywoman in Technology Awards took place recently in Intellect’s head office in central London. These awards are a fantastic way of celebrating inspirational women in technology, and those being judged were indeed truly inspirational.
Many women do not see technology as a viable career option for them – these awards seek to change this mindset. In fact, technology is both an exciting and varied career choice for all. And, being a sector that is growing massively, now really is the time to look at what it can offer.
The women we saw at judging day were exactly the kind of role models that the industry is crying out for. Dedicated, passionate, and phenomenal were just some of the adjectives used not once but many times throughout the day by an esteemed panel of judges. They clearly demonstrated what their energy and commitment could bring, both to them personally and to the industry.
The women attending had contributed not only within their day to day jobs but also to promoting the role of women within their organisations.
The awards ceremony will take place at The Savoy on Thursday, 29 March.
