IBM Target Technology Entrepreneurs for SmartCamp Event
IBM are sponsor of the Iris Award Category of the NatWest everywoman Awards. This Award is given to the most inspirational and successful female entrepreneur who runs a technology business that makes a difference, provides real solutions in the world today and, ultimately, is instrumental in building a smarter planet.
IBM is looking for technology entrepreneurs to build Smarter Cities. IBM is partnering with cities to help tackle urban issues and improve the quality of life for citizens with the use of technology. To help identify the best smarter technology startups for Smarter Cities, IBM is running IBM SmartCamp KickStart London on 5 October 2012 at the Forum Centre, IBM South Bank.
IBM is gathering industry leading mentors from investment firms, serial entrepreneurs, academics, marketing, communications and technology experts to meet with five of the most promising technology startups with innovate solutions to build Smarter Cities. A series of SmartCamp KickStart events are planned around Europe to climax in a regional finals event in Berlin 13-14 November 2012.
Applications to take part close on 14 September and finalists will be announced on 28 September 2012.
