Why every adult should have a will.

Hi everyone , i have just joined this network and the reason i joined was for help growing my business. I would love any assistance that you as members can give me as i am in the process of redoing my advertising and would love to know why the majority of people do not get their wills written or keep them up to date? I am a will writer and financial adviser that wants to put together an advert that encourages people to deal with this problem. Therefore please let me know your thoughts , good or bad, and i will post the finished ad for review . Many Thanks for reading this .

I have only just completed my will after having it in draft form for the past 3 years! I think the reason for us not writing wills or keeping them up to date for me was for me time, the cost and actually having to think about dying! But now I have done it I actually do feel happier about the process. Having a family and business it is important that I have one in place, and now I don't have to think about it.

I didn't have a will until recently and I think it was generally because didn't feel particularly old or ill and also I don't have young dependants so felt there was less of a sense of importance. The key thing though was that I hadn't thought about what a nightmare it would be for those left behind if I didn't have one..which is what really made me do it in the end - having heard a horror story. Anyway all sorted now.. Good luck with the campaign. Donna
