Previously he worked for 5 years as a UK Divisional Managing Director responsible for a business of 4,000 colleagues in the Home Delivery sector. He has managed executive level relationships with BHS, Argos, Homebase, Next and Habitat amongst others and is currently leading DHL’s development of the retail sector worldwide. Jonathan is a strong supporter of having a diverse workforce and in his role as MD has 3 women directors on his executive committee. |

Elaine Miller Operations Director, Wincanton Elaine is Operations Director of Wincanton’s container logistics business which runs a fleet of 670 vehicles and employs 880 people from 16 locations nationwide. She is responsible for the management of all operational functions as well as playing a key role in the strategic planning and development of the business. Previously she worked at Hanbury Davies as Operations Director - the company’s only woman-director. In 2009, Elaine won the prestigious MAN everywoman in Transport & Logistics Woman of the Year Award. |

Lesley Parker Professional Development Manager, CILT(UK) Lesley is responsible for the the management of the distance learning programme delivering the Institute's qualifications throughout the world. Since joining CILT a little over six years ago, Lesley has worked to expand the portfolio of training courses offered by the Institute which includes online, public and in company delivery. Valerie is also founding President of the Women’s Transportation Seminar London, which promotes gender equality in transport. In 2007 she was appointed to the UK Commission for Skills and Employment.
