About everywomanClub

everywomanClub is for women of influence who want to inspire and be inspired.

Members are from business and the wider community. They include female entrepreneurs who have built large businesses and senior women in corporations, the arts, government and charity.

The everywomanClub (also referred to as ewClub or theClub) is a propriety club. The proprietor is Everywoman Ltd whose registered office is at 17 Wootton Street, London, SE18TG, United Kingdom (company number 3798319).

The proprietor will select an Advisory board, they will steer the direction of the Club and its agenda. The Advisory Board will comprise of everywoman’s co-founders and a number of senior women in business.  The proprietor may also establish sub-committees where appropriate.

By joining and paying your membership fee, you agree to be bound by these Rules as well as our On-Line Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

everywomanClub Membership

• The Club is a private club and membership is by invitation only.

• Club rules are part of membership terms and conditions.

• The objectives of the Club are to provide products and services that support networking and inspire members to achieve more in their working lives and support others to do the same.

• Members are required to pay a membership fee and comply with these Rules.

• Membership applies to the named individual; it is non-transferrable and is reviewed on an annual basis.

• Any member wishing to resign must do so in writing to Membership Committee, everywoman, 17 Wootton Street, London, SE1 8TG or via email to ewClub (Club). No refunds will be made whether on resignation, expiry or other termination of membership. All memberships are based on a yearly contract, and any resignation mid-way throughout the contract period will not be funded.

External Applications

External applications and nominations by Club members will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate they are or have been entrepreneurs who have built large businesses or they are or have been senior women in the workplace. Applications can be made here: www.everywoman.com/club/apply.

If their application is successful they must pay the membership fee at the rate advertised on www.everywoman.com. Membership approval is discretionary and the final decision resides with the membership committee of the Club.

Review of external applications

• A Membership committee will be appointed from within everywomanand may include Club members.

• The membership committee has the right to invite potential members. 

• The committee will review all applications on a monthly basis, including member recommendations.

• New members will be accepted if a minimum of 50% of the committee are in agreement.

• The decision and reasons for refusal will remain confidential and no reason will be given to the applicant if they are unsuccessful.

Code

Members must not share their personal subscription or member benefits with another person outside the Club.

The Club is a haven for members, a place where they can speak frankly and in confidence. As a result members must:

• treat conversations and online communications within the Club environment with respect and confidentiality

• not use the Club to sell to members

It is prohibited to reveal details of the Club’s events or members, or conversations heard during networking events, whether externally or to the media, without prior permission and consent from the Club or the member in question.

No member shall use the intellectual property of the Club without permission. If permission is granted to use Club branding, it must be used in line with everywoman brand standards.

Any member that is reported to or is seen not to adhere to this Club code or any part of these Rules will be asked to a meeting and the termination of their membership will be at the discretion of the membership committee.

Upon termination, the member forfeits the right to the membership benefits and shall not be eligible to a refund on fees paid prior to their expulsion.

Members must also comply to everywoman’s online terms and conditions.

Fees

The duration of the Club membership is 12 months, and may be renewed anually. Payment will be taken at the beginning of the first month following approval and will last for 12 consecutive months.The fee is payable in its entirety:  £495 + vat (exclusive of events).

Membership and event fees will be reviewed on an annual basis.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required from members who have signed up for everywoman events. Notification may be made in person, via email, phone and/or fax, or any other means will be accepted subject to confirmation in writing. The Club reserves the right to levy a £30 charge to cover any subsequent administrative expenses.

Privacy

The proprietor will keep a record of all members and applicants in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and its Privacy Policy which can be accessed here

Indemnity

The services provided via the Club’s events and websites, including all content and information, are provided without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

While we take reasonable steps to ensure the quality of content and information made available to members in general terms (other than conversations within the Members forum), neither the Club, nor its officers, employees, contractors or content providers assume any responsibility for the accuracy, correctness, relevance, completeness or currency of the information or other content on the Club website or provided at events. 

The Club is not responsible for any accident or injury (or allergic reaction) that occurs to any person whilst attending any Club event, nor for the loss of or damage to any person’s personal or business belongings during an event.

The Club's entire liability to members or guests in respect of all matters associated with the Club shall be limited as follows:

• Nothing in these Rules excludes the Club's liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence of the Club, its servants or agents.

• Nothing in these Rules excludes any other liability which is prohibited from being excluded by law.

• Except as set out above, the Club accepts no liability for and hereby excludes any liability for any consequential or indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill or any form of special damages.

• The Club's liability for direct loss shall, subject to the paragraphs above, be limited to the annual membership fees paid by the member to the Club and all conditions, warranties or other terms whatsoever inconsistent with the provisions of this sub paragraph are hereby expressly excluded.

Complaints

Any complaints by Members must be sent to the membership committee in writing and will be answered in three working days.

*Subject to availability, the guest fee for the event will be published online, member’s guests may only attend one Club networking event per year (they are however able to attend as many other everywoman events as they wish).
