FDM everywoman in Technology Awards
Date 19th Mar 2014 12:00 pm (GMT)
Technology desperately needs more female role models. This is why the everywoman in Technology Awards were launched in 2011 – to showcase the talented women in the sector as the role models that they are.
The sector boasts a wide variety of diverse career options for women, ranging from programming, gaming and data processing to support services such as marketing and finance. It also offers impressive salaries, opportunities for travel, many options for freelance and self-employment as well as flexible working conditions.
The FDM everywoman in Technology Awards aim to reverse the decline in the numbers of women taking up careers in IT by encouraging more women into this innovative and fast moving career choice, one which rewards their talents. Our previous winners and finalists embody the talent, passion and determination that it takes to succeed. Following the 2013 sell out event the Awards Ceremony for 2014 will take place at the Sheraton Park Lane.
On the morning of the 2013 FDM everywoman in Technology Awards, everywoman hosted a roundtable debate with senior leaders and influencers of global technology organisations - read Computer Weekly’s coverage of the discussion >>
