everywoman Awards

everywoman hosts three annual award ceremonies, recognising and highlighting inspirational women in business.

The MAN everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards
Date: Thursday, 13 May 2010
Venue: The London Marriott Hotel

Seven out of 10 jobs in London are expected to be taken by women between now and 2016, so there has never been a better time to celebrate women in a sector with which they have not traditionally been associated. The UK’s transport and logistics industry may conjure images of white, middle aged men, but these awards aim to challenge this stereotype, celebrating the exceptional women working in the sector.

The third annual MAN everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards ceremony takes place on Thursday, 13 May 2010.

The Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards
Date: Tuesday, 14 September 2010
Venue: The Savoy, London

The third annual Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards takes place in September and seeks to address the severe shortage of senior women working in the industry.

Research shows that women make up 60% of the retail workforce, but fewer than 5% of the sector's CEOs are female and women make a paltry 8% of its purchasing decisions.* Worse still, there has been no significant change to this inequality during the last ten years.
