Jackie Cooper has known PR all her professional life having been in the industry for 25 years. From working side by side with an ex Features Editor on the Financial Times in her first agency job, to living in the tabloid dynamite world of Publicity Guru Max Clifford - via an ethical stint at Greenpeace, launching, among others, their infamous Anti Fur Trade campaign - Jackie considers herself lucky to have experienced so many aspects of the industry.

In 1987 Jackie founded JCPR along with Robert Phillips. Their strategic, creative and mould-breaking partnership has delivered many successful campaigns. Eighteen years on, JCPR is rated as Britain's leading consumer PR agency, and now enjoys being part of the world's biggest global independent since joining the Edelman network in May 2004.

Jackie and the JCPR team have been responsible for some of the UK's most memorable PR campaigns - from the infamous "8/10 women wear the wrong size bra" (for Playtex; 1989) through to the rebirth and current rise of Wembley Stadium.

Jackie's speciality is understanding how to reach and motivate consumers. She created the global template for the award winning campaign for tween brand, Mary-Kate & Ashley, (Consumer Campaign of the Year 2002), building a UK brand from zero to £12m at retail value in two years and then rolling this out across the world. Her unique grasp of celebrity endorsement and understanding of the power of entertainment has pushed the agency to deliver a raft of successful endorsement campaigns including Claire Sweeney for Marks and Spencer (building a £20m brand in 3 months), Penny Lancaster for Ultimo, Jade Jagger, Rachel Stevens and Jamelia for Pretty Polly as well as Jimmy Carr for Volvic
